TAMAN NEGARA NATIONAL PARK - PAHANG

Alhamdulillah... Greetings and good luck to those who stopped by the ANS TRJ Blog... Thank you.                                            This time I want to share my trip with the College Recources group to Taman Negara National Park, Pahang in years 2008.

Come with me... quickly 👻♈

Buses depart from Port Dickson to Taman Negara National ParkThe trip was as usual, Alhamdulillah...  moving smoothly to the destination.

Let's make the story short, until we checked in to the chalet, there was a team building at night.
The food was all okay and everything was fine. The chalet was comfortable, but the atmosphere of sitting in the forest was a little different. After dinner, there was a briefing for the next activity.  Okay, let's go to sleep first..

"Ghosts here... please don't disturb my sleep"👻.
Alhamdulillah, I was able to sleep soundly that night.

The next morning we had a "Rapid Shooting" activity through the Tembeling River. Come on guys! Let's having fun, this must be an adventurous trip.  Let's go! 👻♈

We start from here, as in the picture above. The trip also included a stop at an "Orang Asli Village". Wow, this was a great experience. The boat was really fast. It was scary, but we all wore life jackets. When we reached a rapid, the boat driver instructed us to put the paddlers on the water to put pressure on the water so that we could spray water towards our friends in the boat next to us.. We fought each other. It was fun playing in the water at that time.. It was really fun. Everyone in the boat got wet haha nice... This activity is really fun, although it's scary to see the river water almost reach the level of the boat. Along the way, you can hear the sounds of birds and monkeys on both sides of the forest. The weather is really beautiful today.
The boat is still moving...Finally we arrived at an area where the Orang Asli Village was located. After parking the boat, we walked along the river bank.  Let's climb the river bank to the Orang Asli Village..    Let's move in move in 👻♈

After passing the cliff, we walked along the forest path provided an soon finally arrived at the "Orang Asli Village". We were not allowed to take pictures, and you understand because their way of life there is different from ours. So it would be rude for us to take pictures of them even for memories. After all, their condition at that time was not suitable for us to take pictures. Those who understand will understand... don't ask why... 👻♈

After passing through the Orang Asli Village, we started the jungle journey to the suspension bridge (Canopy Bridge) checkpoint. Wow, it was really fun walking in the jungle. I don't really remember what the journey was like, oh my, that's a problem. A lot of my memories have faded because of the bitter memories of the past. Ok, I'll summarize this journey, finally we reached the hanging rope... oops, wrong to the Suspension Bridge... 👻♈ let's go!

Ok, it's here.. it's here 👻♈
Wow, it's amazing to walk on this canopy bridge, it's also very exciting. It sways like playing the piano to the song "Always Remember Us This Way" Wow, it's so tall, deep..the same height as a tree.
#The canopy bridge is about 550 meters long. The height is about 45 meters from the forest floor. It's about the same height as 15 stories. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes to walk, making it the longest suspension bridge in the world. This is what I read 👻#
At the height of the bridge, we can hear the sounds of the animals there, such as birds chirping, deer, tigers roaring... all the while, I didn't see any monkeys. From the top, the view is beautiful and the wind is really cool. I finished the canopy bridge route, then we all went back to the chalet. It was a tiring journey but it was fun. After a break, a delicious meal, then we continue with team building activities.
That night, we went into the forest following the track...
feeling excited👻♈
When we were about to step onto the forest track, a wild boar suddenly appeared, so we all quickly climbed onto the bridge. OMG haha.. I saw the boar with its fangs sticking out of the bushes. After that, we walked straight to the destination to see wild animals at night. In my heart, I didn't want to see ghosts anymore👻
I don't remember how far we walked, but it wasn't very far... walking in the forest with a flashlight. We weren't worried because we were on a wooden bridge. We were just afraid that the long one would suddenly fall on our heads, huhu pishang👻 Soon we arrived at a place to watch wild animals...  that looked like a wooden platform and below it was like a canyon. Everyone started to shine their lights down, to see if there were any wild animals like tigers passing by.  There was indeed a glimpse of a tiger down there... Maybe that's where the tigers go clubbing..👻 it was too far away for the eyes to see, If you're night-blind, you probably won't see that.
After being given an explanation about the forest area and before entering the forest, we were also warned not to talk nonsense, otherwise we would be kidnapped by a genie 👻 hahaha... The night is getting thicker, we move back to the chalet to sleep. Before going to bed, clean yourself, and recite  Doa' so that the jinn from the forest won't follow you back. If you don't believe it, that's your fault 👻

Woke up the next morning, the last day. As usual, we gathered together, had breakfast and did the last team building activity. After lunch, we headed back. "Everytime we say goodbye, baby, it hurts"👻.   Alhamdulillah we arrived at the College compound safely. Thank You Allah.

I hope my experience can inspire you all and hopefully it will be useful. See you again in the next blog ANS TRJ.

For those who have never been to Taman Negara National Park, Pahang, you can go and
experience it for yourself.
