Greetings and Good Luck to those who stop by this blog, Thank you👻♈
This time I would like to share my experience going to Sg. Chiling on
23rd July 2022. Before coming here I stopped at the Sungai Selangor
Dam and Fraser's Hill.

Let's go! Follow me quickly...👻♈
There are four of us, a family. I only use maps to go anywhere. I really
don't remember the way even though I've been to Kuala Kubu Bharu more than
three times.. memory lost👻♈. I once went to hang out and eat village food at Cafe Hutan Sg. Bonda Rozita
in the Batang Kali near Kuala Kubu Bharu area too.
It was really crowded at that time. I waited for almost half an hour to
get on the four-wheel drive because the road was hilly and not suitable
for cars. At that time, I went with my best friend (bff) after the event that day. In
2022 if I'm not mistaken after the MCO is no longer in Malaysia. We wanted
to go to Cafe Bonda for lunch, but the best thing is that the four-wheel
drive drivers were all women, they looked fierce grrr 👻♈..
I was also afraid of the hilly road because it was on the edge of a
ravine.. uish scary. For those who haven't been to Hutan Bonda, go and
experience the journey up and down the forest hills for yourself,
especially the women driving the four-wheel drive. Sorry, the ad is
short.
Okay, let's continue the story👻♈
Actually, our initial plan was to go to Fraser's Hill. I went up Fraser's Hill first and it was almost noon. We went to look
for food then waited for prayer time. When we arrived at Fraser's Hill,
there was a group of cyclists and big motorbikes hanging out there. It was
really lively at that time. Tired of walking around Fraser's Hill, we
wanted to get off. I just noticed the petrol light flashing. I looked around and it turned
out there was no petrol pump here... oh my.
If I'm not mistaken, it was 2009, I once went here
on a college bus because there was a Team Leadership for three days and
two nights but I didn't know there was no petrol station here because I'm not the one driving the bus, how do I know?
I stopped at the police station there. I asked the officer there where
to find petrol, because if I continued on my journey, my car would
definitely die in the forest 👻... oh my. Alhamdulillah, there was an officer who kept a stock of
petrol for emergencies. I bought a bottle of petrol that was enough to
get down to Sg. Chiling. Alhamdulillah, thanks to our police officers
who are friendly to the people.
Ok, let's move on to Sg. Chiling, we'll be late👻♈.
We arrived at the Sg. Chiling car park at 3.15 pm. I only brought a backpack
with mineral water and gardenia bread as supplies at the waterfall
later.
This is my first time here so I don't know what's in Sg. Chiling area.
After parking the car, we went across to Sg. Chiling. Enter through the
gate which is marked on the board that says "Sg. Chiling Ikan
Sanctuary".
Arriving at the waterfall area, everyone present has to register
their name.
The purpose of writing names is important because the forest
rangers want to ensure the safety of all of us. They want to ensure
that everyone who enters and exits is safe.
So don't be stubborn, please register your name before doing any
water activities. When I arrived, there were a lot of people. Many
came in groups and many were families.
Okay, let's
explore in Sg. Chiling👻♈.
Our exploration activity began. We crossed the bridge to get there.
Continue along the track to the waterfall. The path is a little slippery because 'water head (river source)' has
happened here. Although this track is far from the river bank, here I feel it is dangerous if we are not alert to the surrounding conditions. Around the waterfall area throughout the Kuala Kubu Bharu area before,
there have been many cases of 'water head' that claimed lives, so we all
need to be careful of the possibilities that come. As usual, before going
anywhere, we should accompany it with a prayer to be kept away from all
unwanted incidents, InsyaAllah.
Ok continue the journey quickly, we will be late until👻♈
After a few minutes of walking in, we
arrived at the river path. That's where we started crossing to get to the
other side. The water was knee-deep to waist-deep at that time. We used a sack rope
that stretched across the river to get across to the other side.
When I was on the other side of the river,
there were three people in the water. When there were so many people holding the rope, things were very
unstable. One to the left, one to the right, I was swaying as I crossed the river.
What to do because everyone has their own way.
Ok finished crossing one river path, we walked along the river bank
surrounded by forest and only heard the sound of flowing water. I really
like this track. There was also the sound of birds chirping. After walking
for a few minutes, we met the second path to cross the river. Like the
path before, there was a sack rope. We crossed the river safely.
Continuing the journey, we met the third river path to cross. Everything
went smoothly. The water level at that time was knee-high and up to waist
level. We continued the journey until we met the fourth river path. After
crossing, we walked again. Walked until we met the fifth river path. We
crossed the river using the rope as before and almost fell into the water
because we stepped on the rocks in the river. This journey was really
exciting. After crossing the river, we continued the journey for a few
minutes until we reached the sixth path and this was the last path to
cross. The water was getting deeper and a little faster. After crossing
the last river path, we continued walking until we reached the Sg. Chiling
Waterfall. The journey took almost an hour to reach the Sg. Chiling
waterfall spot. A really fun journey while playing in the water.
When we arrived at the waterfall area, we sat on the river rocks to
rest. Not long after, our feet were covered with Kelah fish. It really
felt peaceful while looking at the scenery there with the hissing
sound of the waterfall.
I saw a large tree spanning the river on the back path. This situation is usually the result of 'water head'. While we were there, it started to rain lightly. I just sat on the river rocks and looked towards the waterfall. Some people climbed the waterfall rocks to jump from there. We can bathe there but do not jump into the teeth of the waterfall because of the danger. Along the teeth of the waterfall there is a narrow and deep whirlpool hole. This happens because of the pressure of the water coming down from above. Before, there were cases of visitors being sucked into the teeth of the waterfall. So we must be aware of this danger and if possible, bathe in a safe place.
It started to rain heavily. Everyone was still motionless and some were still bathing in the
waterfall. I started to call all the members not to be in the water. Suddenly we heard a warning siren from behind. Apparently the area
ranger had shouted through a loudspeaker telling us all to get out of
the waterfall area. We all hurriedly packed our things. Our family also set off back
and were careful when crossing the river, afraid that the water would
suddenly come. Phew, I feel scared when in a situation like this. We
moved as quickly as possible. The water was getting deeper and faster.
My eyes were tired looking at the waterway from above, I had to
prepare for the possibilities that were coming. Alhamdulillah we
arrived safely at the registration area and confirmed that all four of
us were safe. There was a public bathroom there so we cleaned
ourselves up and changed clothes to move back.
On the way back, we stopped at Bukit Ampang and enjoyed the sunset view
there while having a meal. That was our day's journey. After all the
business was done, we returned to Seremban feeling tired and sleepy. That's all I'll share this trip with you, hopefully it will be useful
for everyone.

The journey we plan, sometimes does not happen as planned so accompany
the journey with prayers for protection from Allah S.W.T.
InsyaAllah.
I hope the ghost in Sg. Chiling does not follow me back..👻♈
