MALAYSIA - INDONESIA /JAKARTA-BANDUNG

 a-a-N-S_TRJ

My hobby is crossing the forest, camping at the ocean-waterfall, going hiking in the hills, jungle tracking, watching the scenery of the sea, river, clouds, fog and everything is related to this Universe.

When we are friends with nature, all the problems in our lives will become lighter and we will easily accept them with an open heart and always have a spacious chest, InsyaAllah.

In live, we all strive to be the best.

Come with me to surf real life. I will share with you all about my experience and journey in the ansTRJ blog.

To JAKARTA, INDONESIA (KLIA - Soekarno-Hatta Airport)...   Let's Fly 👻♈

In the year 2010, I flew with a group of workers to Jakarta for a special visit.

I will just tell you briefly.   While in Jakarta, I only stopped at two places.

I stopped by 'Tanah Abang', a big market full of clothes. Many traders come here to buy on consignment. The prices are really cheap and this is a clothing paradise. I bought a set of clothes to take to Malaysia later.

That night I stopped by a leather shoe center called 'Donatello'.

There are so many choice of  leather shoes here, it's mind-blogging. Men's and women's shoes have many choices of various designs. I also bought a pair of leather shoes. The price of the shoes I bought was approximately 100,000 Rupiah. That means the price of a pair is less than RM30. Must be cheap, right? For example, where in Malaysia can you get mid-range leather shoes for RM30? There really won't be any. This is the best business opportunity for Malaysians. Another thing is that the food in Indonesia is really good and delicious. Don't be afraid to eat anything, they are all friendly. I drank 'Jamu Honey' on the street which cost one thousand rupiahs, about 30 cents only. Different countries have different challenges. The Indonesian people are indeed resilient.

Okay, let's continue our journey... 👻♈

After 2 days in Jakarta, on the third day I went to Bandung. We want to go visit a crater of a steep mountain called 'Tangkuban Perahu'.

On the way there, I had a chance to see the panaromic view of Jakarta's roads, they are really busy and there are four-lanes left and right . The good thing is that it's hard to see accidents and the sound of horns. I myself saw that the roads were also rough. Really respect Indonesia people. It seems Indonesian people are disciplined on the road and most importantly have a lot of patience.

We haven't arrived yet, let's hurry up... 👻♈

Good... We almost reached the 'Tangkuban Perahu'

Before entering the 'Tangkuban Perahu' village area, we had to stop at the Police Guard Post. Looks like we're going to have to wait a while. After a discussion with the Police Guard, we had to pay 100,000 Rupiah to pass through that road. What the heck? 👻♈

Whatever challenges lie ahead, we must overcome them. The journey to "Tangkuban Perahu" passes through a hilly village. The spirit of the people in Bandung is really good. Along the way to the crater, I saw that every house there had 'hill rice' (Padi Bukit) planted in their area. Every house has a paddy plot. Subhanallah... I don't know what to say. Their lives are really good. I really respect them. That's their way of survival. May Allah make their lives easy for all of them.

Okay... the tourist van is still moving but hasn't arrived yet... Let's move in move in 👻♈

Can you imagine that huge volcano erupting and now leaving a huge hole?.  Things that happen beyond human limits. In human life, explosions are common in war situations,

but God is omnipotent over all things. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, we were immediately attacked by street vendors there. The traders kept coming and going, asking me and my friends to buy. I didn't even have time to set foot on the ground. I just nodded my head, said thank you and walked away towards the crater area. It is amazing the condition of this volcano crater. As big as the mountain, there is a deep hole left and can be seen still emitting smoke.

I walked along the shops on the edge of the crater. There were various souvenirs and food and drink for sale. After looking around the area, I turned back. All kinds of handicrafts for sale. It's really interesting and there are many choices. The air in the crater area is cool.

After it was time to leave, we all moved to the van. The traders who greeted us earlier started approaching. It's not that I didn't want to buy, but I had already bought from the shops by the crater. If you want to shop, stick to your budget too, huhu... If we were forced to buy again, we wouldn't buy, so we would just say no, thank you. The street traders were grumbling angrily.. oh my, sorry...  I couldn't do anything either. I just smiled and prayed that their affairs would be made easier.

The van moved back to Jakarta. This was my last day here. That was all my experience there, it was a short but meaningful journey in my life.  Hopefully everything has changed and is better now. That's all, hopefully there is some benefit in my story. This is the story of 2010, of course now it's 2025, everything has changed for the better. I'm telling you what I still remember because many of my own memories have been erased from my brain 👻♈.{This experience is from my perspective, just sharing my experience while there and not intending to disparage anyone.  This is my first sharing and I will share it in another chapter, InsyaAllah.}

On the fourth day we flew back to Malaysia. Goodbye Jakarta, hope to see you again.. 👻♈
