Salam and Good Luck to Everyone Who Stopped by the ANS TRJ Blog, Thank You.
On 23/8/2025, I and 3 others went hiking to Bukit Batu Sawa, Kuala Klawang, Negeri Sembilan D.K.
Come with me hiking to Bukit Batu Sawa, let's continue our journey... 👻😁
We started hiking at 7.20am from the car parking area. We paid RM2.00 to the Landlord for parking and walked 200 metres to the permit counter for Bukit Batu Sawa. At that time, the counter had not yet opened and we all continued our journey up the hill.
The permit price to Bukit Batu Sawa is RM5.00 and this is the standard price set by the Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department to enter any Forestry Area in each District of Negeri Sembilan.
The four of us continued our journey through the forest track with the uneven ground that was starting to rise.
Before reaching the electrical substation, there is a gazebo on the edge of the forest track. We stopped at the gazebo for a while.
After a short rest, we continued our journey up the hill, which was made up of hard soil and along the way there were sack ropes to make it easier for us to climb the hill.
After going through the hill as in the video above, we were almost to the top of Bukit Batu Sawa.
The climb took 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the top. We quickly went to the corner of the photo spot but at that time many people were waiting for their turn. At one point, clouds rolled in and the background of the photo was definitely beautiful because there were thick clouds marching. The rest of us couldn't wait because we were afraid that the clouds would pass by. We were really disappointed at that time because there was a climber who was taking photos at that time who didn't pay attention and didn't give us a chance to grab the scene. We should have taken the photo and left quickly and given the others a chance because the clouds don't necessarily stay there. It was a little disappointing because at that time the view was really beautiful and it wasn't easy for us to get such a moment.
The height of Bukit Batu Sawa is 333.33 meters.
At the top, we rested in a corner to drink and eat the snacks we brought. After an hour of rest, we decided to go down. The trip down the hill was faster than the trip up the hill. It only took us 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This climb was not too difficult for me because I was already comfortable with the lower hills such as Bukit Broga, Bukit Penarikan, Bukit Sendayan and Bukit Batu Sawa itself. All of these hills took less than 2 hours. Except for Gunung Angsi which had a steep track and Gunung Besar Hantu which was the most challenging and I managed to conquer them all.

Mimicking a real hiker😂
I am indeed satisfied with the level of stamina I have even though every time I want to climb, I never warm up in preparation for the climb. This means that I am used to it and face the path to the summit as usual even though there are times when my heart beats fast, my mind is disturbed, I lose confidence for a moment and my knees have even buckled when descending from Gunung Besar Hantu where in 3km I will reach the Campsite. The biggest challenge is climbing GBH because it takes 20km to go back and forth.
To my friends from Negeri Sembilan out there who want to start climbing, it is best to try climbing low hills first like the hills I mentioned before. Then climb Gunung Angsi and finally GBH. After this, if we have the means, we will climb Mount Kinabalu huh😅👻.
The climb was successful and there were no problems during our trip there and back. Everything was fine.
On the way back there was a hill. I challenged all the members to run up the hill and they all passed which means there is still a lot of stamina stored and not fully used. It was really fun hiking along the forest road with the sounds of nature. We arrived at the parking lot and continued our journey back to Seremban. Ok, that's all for the story from ans TRJ this time. Hopefully we will continue with the story in the next place, InsyaAllah. Thank you all for stopping by ans TRJ's blog. Wasallam.
