The first time I hiked Penarikan Hill was on September 16, 2024. Waze Starting Point Penarikan Hill. From Seremban to Bahau it takes about an hour. That time we came in the morning at 8am. In the morning, there were many hikers going up, it was really lively and not quiet. I parked my car at a villager's house there for RM3. The journey passed through a palm oil plantation.
The track is hilly and to the top of the Green Carpet takes an hour and a half.
When I got to the fork in the road, I chose to go left. Apparently I just found out now, the left track go straight to the top of the Green Carpet.
If we choose the path to the right, it means we will reach the first peak of Penarikan Hill.
When it comes to the top, it is fun and the fatigue is gone.
To the GREEN CARPET PEAK
Today 26th Januari, 2025 at 5 pm I went up for the second time. Oh, this is not the right time to go up. Just the two of us like usual.
Trying to catch up with time, it was too late. My eyes looked around the area, I had to be careful. This area is not like Broga Hill, Angsi Mountain. I just felt uncomfortable with the surroundings, plus it was just the two of us at that time. Actually, there are all kinds of dangers. Sometimes, I am most afraid of humans. For women, don't forget to bring any weapons for your own safety. We kept climbing the hill until I heard people's voices at the bottom of the hill.

The path goes through an oil palm plantation. It's normal during the day but at dusk it looks creepy.
When we reached 332m I came across a male climber. He was the only one coming down. There was no one up there. I continued to climb but my child suddenly felt like she was going to faint👻♈

Thank God many climbers started to appear but they were all men. There were also Indonesians who climbed here. I talked to them. He said he always climbed, sometimes at night, he said he felt safe and peaceful at the top. I just wanted to feel comfortable talking to them. Peak of Penarikan Hill - 1st Checkpoint
We started climbing at 5pm. We reached the top at 6.15pm, too engrossed in the view from the top, when we looked at the clock it was already 6.45pm.
We tried to run down but be careful, if we made a little mistake, we would fall into the gorge. Oh God, the sun was almost setting, the horror started to come. It was really scary to finish the oil palm path, it was too late to get out of there. The many male climbers were still on the green carpet. We quickly went down the hill, it was already dark. When we arrived at the oil palm plantation to get to the car, it was really scary. Oh God, my child started to worry in his mind playing various assumptions. Her eyes looked into the oil palm, looked back, afraid that there was a bad person. We ran because it was dark, also afraid of running into this forest ghost👻♈. Actually I wasn't afraid but my child was afraid that there were people in the plantation, that's why I felt nervous.. oh God👻♈, this is the problem. My car was far away. There were also people parking in this oil palm plantation. Thank God we got home safely. The lesson is not to go down at dusk, it is best to climb after dawn. It is really fun to enjoy nature. Beautiful and perfect cloud carvings. The wind from above really makes us feel like we don't want to go back. That's our feeling when we are at the top of Penarikan Hill.
Goodbye Penarikan Hill, we will meet again, God willing. Ok, that's all my story while climbing Penarikan Hill.See you again on the next ANS TRJ Blog, InsyaAllah.
